Old Television
Remember how old television was actually kind of bad. But you were twelve at the time. And being able to watch television was a bit of a luxury.

Like so much old television is decades of Saturday morning cartoons. And daytime sitcoms. And soap operas.

Man just talking bout TV is ultra nostalgic to me cause I barely watch TV in the first place, plus since we were ultra-broke my TV in my room was actually a CRT... Mind you CRT were already fully dead when I was still rocking it with a like dedicated box thing.
Honestly on our side, old TV was much better tbh than nowadays, don't know bout you tho. Depends on the country ig but yeah ours was better in the past than now

I'm sure if you could see those shows today it would embarrass you with how stupid and cheap they were.

Not all old shows were terrible. I'm a big fan of old shows for a few reasons - one of the biggest that they're super affordable to purchase at used book stores, and sometimes they're even free on a digital antenna, the library, or TubiTV and PlutoTV. I didn't grow up during that time, but being able to boot up one of those shows hassle-free was sort of how I got introduced to them.

Some good ones I can think of are Columbo, Ray Bradbury Theater, Mod Squad, and Kojak. Mystery Science Theater 3000 and FBI Files aren't exactly "old" since they ran in the 90s, but I'm throwing them in here because they're also in the same category of "shows that are just kinda on YouTube for some reason".

They were very cheesy though (imagine the Walker Texas Ranger theme playing here), so I can understand that can be a drag.
